Hotel Farm Bell Stone, located in Carandaí, the BR-040 (which connects Belo Horizonte to Rio de Janeiro) was a pioneer of Rural Tourism in Minas Gerais. It was inaugurated in 1990. Farm Bell Stone was founded in the 70s with milk production, breeding of cattle, buffalo, sheep, crops like corn, rice, beans and vegetables, plus a stills which produced one of the best cachaça in the region.
