The Pedra do Sino Farm Hotel in Carandai was one of the first Country Tourism Hotels in the state of Minas Gerais in 1990. The Farm Pedra do Sino started in 1970 producing milk, corn, rice, beans and green leafs, besides the "alambique*" where one of the best cachaça** of the county was made.
